hell is always today

December 14, 2007

So I’m reading this book called Hell Is Always Today, by Jack Higgens. I’ve read it once before which is really the only reason why i chose to read it again for english class. It’s always easier to pretend you know something about a book you’re reading when you’ve already read it… right? Anyways, the book follows two story lines in present time, told by a narrator throughout. The book tells the tale of the ” Rain Lover” a murderer who fansies killing young women in the rain late at night.

I have to say I’m not to fond of the idea of being forced to write a blog to attempt to incourage you kids to read… In fact I’m not even sure if that’s what I am supposed to be accomplishing. REGARDLESS! Read this, pretend to be interested… maybe even intrigued if you will, and your teachers just might think they made a good choice in making us all do this. Go to your teacher, tell them this is “neat” and baby you will be golden…

It’s funny how we’re supposed to take all of this seriously, but really what are they expecting from us. Let’s just face it, I am an unmotivated 16 year olf girl who happend to fail english class cuz i decided not to go… How am I supposed to give a crap about any of this? Whatever I guess, you win some you lose some.

Peace easy, hope you enjoyed my rant…
