I read this book called the pact. It was a really good book. It wasnt a very predictable book, which made it really catch my attention. I never heard of this book before but Mrs. Yallop showed it to me. I didnt think it was gona be good, but it ended up surprising me !

The book is a love/tradegty type of book. Its about this boy and this girl. They’re parents were bestfriends and so were they since they were little. They also were lovers. There parents wanted them to get married some day and eventually grow old together. They seemed like the perfect couple. But sometimes the most perfect couple isnt really the most perfect couple.
One night they go out drinking at their favorite spot. They have a gun. They decided to commit suicide together. So they can always be together. Only, the girl is the only one who ends up dead… He didnt have time to do it to himself…or was that what he wanted? Did he really want to kill himself? Or did he murder her?
This book has a mystery to it that makes it so interesting. You want him to be innocent..but is he or isnt he?
I dont rele expect anyone to read it, or even take the time to read it. It starts off kind of slow, and flips back and forth from present to future which can also make it interesting. So i guess if u like a bit of a challenge read it, but if not, then i doubt you will end up enjoying this book. Not saying that its not enjoyable, just saying that the book needs attention if you are to read it.
When i was first given this book i was ready to be BORED OUTTA MY MIND. But i was wrong, it rele was good and interesting and if ur a book lover, you will love this book for sure. So if ur gona read it, take ur time and really enjoy!!!
