The Wars

Robert Ross has now joined the army and he is on his wayt to Britain. There has not been any action so far but the drama in this book is just amazing. When I read the wars it seemed like these characters are just facing troubles of a normal day person. Now that i have read further they are very abnormal. I hope robert ross does not get killed because then what will be the fun in reading the end. robert’s dad was just fired from his job at the machinery because he accidently left a piece of metal on the roller belt and it jammed into the machine. Roberts mom is having a hard time at home ever since Robs sister had died. She blames herself for her death but there was nothing they could do.

The Wars

I have contiued reading The Wars and it hasd become more intresting to me.Roberts sister had past away. i don;t know how she died but they explained how she cared for 10 rabbits and they have to be killed because no one wants to care for them. Robert also decided to join the army now because of his sisters death. Robert does not want to go to war but for his family and especially for his deceased sister he decides to. I hope Rob goes to war.

That book i have chosen deals with world war 1. Robert Ross, who is a 19 year old Canadian boy decides to volunteer for officer in the army. He finds himself in the nightmare of trench warfare where he is always covered in smoke and mud and surronded by chlorine gas and rotting corpses.

It is a cool book.
